Started reading’ Skippy Dies’, but have not finished it, some of the characters were in a strange way familiar but overall it just did not get my full concentration.
Thank you Dr. O’Dowd! One that I couldn’t finish myself was ‘Never Let Me Go’ by Kazuo Ishiguro. I kept waiting for something to happen and it never did. Also, I did not find any of the characters particularly appealling and the science fiction aspect of the novel was a little disturbing!
I love ‘Jane Eyre’ though!
